Financial App

Process

To kick off the project, I began by exploring existing solutions, diving into how they work, what features they include, and how they present financial content. This initial research helped me understand the landscape, but also highlighted a common theme: many tools in this space feel overly technical and, frankly, a bit uninspiring.

With that insight, I set a goal to make my solution stand out, not only through unique functionality, but also through a design that feels more approachable and engaging. Finance doesn’t have to be dull, and I wanted my design to prove that.

Once I had a general direction, I moved into ideation by sketching a low-fi prototype. This helped me test basic layouts and start shaping the overall user experience without getting distracted by visual details too early.

When I was confident in the structure, I developed a more detailed mid-fidelity prototype. I added clearer shapes, actual content, and a more defined hierarchy. This stage was about refining the user flow and ensuring usability.

Finally, I brought the interface to life by adding visual polish like colors, icons, and interactive elements like navigation and menus. Each detail was chosen to enhance usability while making the experience more enjoyable.

The result? A solution that is not only functional and user-friendly but also breaks away from the traditionally dry feel of finance-focused products.
